Belly dance is a Middle Eastern art and has been danced by women since ancient times. It is fun, invigorating and grounding, teaching women to enjoy and control their body, whatever size, shape and age they are.
This series of classes will be an introduction to the ancient art of bellydance. We will go over basic classical moves and technique, and practise putting moves together in short choreographies to a variety of Middle Eastern music. Our classes are relaxed, friendly and supportive, targeted at complete beginners, or those who want to practise their basic technique. Mostly the purpose of our classes is to have fun, unwind, and hopefully learn to love bellydance as much as we do! We look forward to seeing you!
