Beginner's ballet is taught by Marianna, and whether you’re completely new to ballet or have some experience but want to build your confidence in the basics, this class is for you. We start at the barre and teach a number of exercises to improve posture, and increase muscle tone, strength and flexibility. The second half of the class takes part in the centre, where we will dance a number of exercises and short routines (enchainements). The Intermediate Ballet class, taught by Marianna, is for more experienced ballet dancers, based on a free syllabus, with new exercises every week of about intermediate level. However, the level of the class will vary depending on the level of attendants. This is a fun but challenging class that aims at improving your technique and get you dancing, with particular focus on adagios and allegros.
